The One Year Bible Reading Plan

One of the most common bible reading plans available is the One Year Bible Reading Plan. To accomplish this plan, your assignment is to read part of the Bible every day for one year. Usually, you only have to spend 15 or 20 minutes a day.

There are a lot of plans available on the internet that divide the Bible into 365 reading segments. Two examples are...

Those plans assume that you start on January 1. But what if it's half way through the year, and you want to start now? In that case, you could print out this Bible reading chart and cross out each day as you complete the reading.

Or, if you don't want to use paper, then you can keep track of your Bible reading progress online. This website's One Year Bible Reading Plan allows you to do just that. Not only can you read your daily passages online, but you can also easily keep track of your progress, even if you fall a few days behind.

For example, if you want to pause your reading plan for a few days while you study another part of the Bible, go ahead and do it. When you're ready to come back, is ready and waiting for you to pick up where you left off. No need to feel guilty if you miss a day, or a week.

Another way to keep track of your Bible readings is to purchase a "One Year Bible" which divides the entire Bible into 365 sections, so you can read one section each day. These Bibles are available for less than $20.

If you like the idea of reading through the Bible, but don't like the one-year plan, there are many others you can follow. The important thing is to stay "in" God's Word. It's up to you to find the methods that you enjoy most.
